How to identify PCB quality problems

However, due to fierce market price competition, the cost of PCB board materials is also on a rising trend, and more and more manufacturers are monopolizing the market with low prices in order to enhance their core competitiveness. The low price means that the cost of the material is reduced. The process is simple, and the more problems of the PCB appear. How do we identify the advantages and disadvantages of the PCB?

First, the circuit design aspect. A good quality PCB circuit board must have a good circuit design. Whether it is a double-sided board or a multi-layer board, it must have precise line control and reasonable line trend in order to avoid slow response due to messy lines.

The second aspect is the appearance. Pcb surface appearance: Good quality PCB circuit board not only has a neat and smooth surface, but the substrate basically does not appear to be bent, loose or even uneven, and there will be no cracks or scars, and the phenomenon of ink shedding. Weld appearance: circuit board due to many parts, if the welding is not good, the pcb parts are easy to fall off, which seriously affects the welding quality of the circuit board.

Third, the thickness. The thickness of the circuit board is different from that of the standard circuit board. Customers can measure and check the thickness and specifications of their own products.

Fourth, it is heat resistance of the product. This point must be personally operated and observed, and the PCB circuit board is assembled on its own product. If it can withstand the instantaneous high temperature generated during soldering, it indicates that it has good heat resistance and good quality.

Fifth, it is expansion coefficient. The PCB circuit board can expand or contract violently in hot and cold environments. If the coefficient of expansion is small and is not greatly affected by the hot and cold environment, it means that its quality is good and will not affect the components on the substrate to be damaged.
