QA

POE focuses on producing high quality PCBs, we have implemented ISO9001 and QS9000 quality systems. The perfect quality assurance system and various testing equipment help us monitor the entire production process to ensure the stability of the process and product quality, while introducing advanced instruments and technical methods to achieve continuous improvement. In order to guarantee the quality of printed circuit boards (PCBs), we use the following processes to ensure that we always provide high-quality circuit board products to our customers.

POEPCBA Workshop Quality Control: FAI/AOI/AXI Machine

Design Rule Checking (DRC)

DRC is a very important step and in-depth review of your production data in PCB manufacturing, which is carried out by our experienced CAM engineers using GENESIS software before producing your printed circuit board. Comprehensive design rule checking helps to identify many errors in advance, thus avoiding problems and complaints. We also perform PCB manufacturing rule checks to ensure that the PCB design is manufacture. If we find any errors, we will get in touch with the customer.

Electrical test

Prototype Orders: We offer Flying-Probe E-Tests for low volume and prototype orders. Your circuit board (PCB) is inspected by a device called a Flying-Probe E-Tester. The flying probe testers we use have virtually no access restrictions, require no test fixtures, and can test boards with an almost unlimited number of nets. The tester will check for shorts, opens and make sure the nets of the PCB we make are the same as the nets in your design. After testing, your board will fail less than 1% ?

Production orders: We use test fixtures to test production orders. A bed of nails tester is a traditional electronic test fixture with a number of pins inserted into the holes of an epoxy novolac glass cloth laminate (G-10) that are pin aligned using a tool to align with the printed circuit board the test point contacts.

The fixture contains a series of small pogo pins; each pogo pin contacts a node in the DUT (device under test) circuit. By pressing the DUT against a bed of nails, reliable contacts can be quickly and simultaneously established to hundreds or even thousands of individual test points within the DUT circuit.

The fixture contains an array of small, spring-loaded pogo pins; each pogo pin makes contact with one node in the circuitry of the DUT (device under test). By pressing the DUT down against the bed of nails, reliable contact can be quickly and simultaneously made with hundreds or even thousands of individual test points within the circuitry of the DUT.
The tester will check for shorts, opens, and make sure the nets of the PCB we make are the same as the nets in your design. After the test is complete, the failure rate of your board will be less than 0.1% ?

POEPCBA-To Ensure The Quality of SMD, We Test EVERY Board With AOI

Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI)

We use AOI to inspect the inner layers of a multilayer PCB. This inspection is more reliable and repeatable than manual visual inspection, and it will guarantee high reliability of multilayer circuit boards. AOI vision scans the surface of the PCB. The board is illuminated by several light sources and viewed by a scanner or multiple high-definition cameras. This can monitor all areas of the printed circuit board. Features that will be detected by AOI for bare PCB inspection include:

Line width violation
Spacing violations
Too much copper
Missing pads
Cut traces or pads
Broken holes

X-Ray

Testing layer offset with X-ray techniques is very important in the manufacture of multilayer PCBs. X-ray images are the best (and only) way to identify and correct layer displacement during pressing.

Drilling in multilayer PCBs is also optimized using X-ray images. Any slight deviation in the geometry of the board image compared to the geometry of the drilled hole coordinates will be identified. By changing the correction factor within a well-defined tolerance, it is possible to ensure that the best drilling reference point is determined for each axis and that the best interpolation is performed for all layers. These corrections take place in the µm range!

POEPCBA, X-Ray Board Testing After Production

ISO9001:2016 and UL Certified

We are an ISO 9001:2016 certified PCB manufacturer. Our quality control system records customer requirements and creates a system for communicating with customers about product information, inquiries, contracts, orders, feedback and complaints. In addition, our quality control systems are regularly audited and assessed to ensure their compliance and effectiveness.

RoHS

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances; it is also known as RoHS 1 (Directive 2002/95/EC), RoHS 2 (Directive 2011/65/EU) and RoHS 3 (Directive 2015/863) and originated in the European Union. The RoHS directive restricts the use of certain hazardous materials commonly found in electrical and electronic products (EEE).
All our lead free finishes: lead free HAL, Immersion Silver, ENIG and OSP are RoHS compliant.
